Reception: A typical wedding reception is 6 hours @ $200 an hour. Our packages start at $1200 and go up from there. The reception will include the DJ with 2 to 4, 12 inch and 10 inch speakers depending on size of the room and amount of people. We always arrive at least an hour to 2 hours ahead of the start time for set up and sound check.
#1 The Chicago DJ package includes a cordless microphone for speeches and a corded microphone for back up, as well as a 3 light, light tree for dance floor lighting. This package is our most common for wedding sizes of 100-200 guests. Our DJ's always dress to impress in a Suit typically or a Tuxedo, always looking good with their shoes shined and well groomed. $200 an hour or $1200 to start. The Chicago package has 2-12 inch speakers on stands and 2-10 inch speakers on the dance floor.
Sting City Music also provides larger wedding packages mainly based on the size of the room and amount of people at the event.
#2 The New York DJ Package is mainly for a wedding size of 200-250 and is $250 an hour or starting at $1500, which includes everything in the Chicago DJ package as well as 2 extra 10 inch speakers and 2 more lights for your dance floor. We also have availability for you to have a live hand drum musician at your dance set, which is very popular in the Big Apple of New York City!
#3 Our largest DJ package is the L.A. Hollywood DJ Package which we suggest for wedding events of 250-300 people or more and this package starts at $300 an hour or $1800 to start. The L.A. Hollywood DJ Package comes with our biggest set of speakers 2-15 inch and 2-18 inch subs with 2 lights trees totaling 6 lights in all for your dance floor lighting. More speakers are available to add to this package if needed.
Having music at your ceremony is great addition and we can definitely accommodate whatever your dreams entail. Our wedding ceremony packages typically have 2-10 inch speakers which will accomadate up to a wedding ceremony of 50-100 people and is priced at $200 for our satellite system. We also have a bigger set up of 2-12 inch speakers which can accommodate 100-200 people at your wedding ceremony and this package is $300 to start. Both packages include any music you want for your ceremony and cordless microphone if needed. All DJ ceremony set ups are able to fit inside or outside for your wedding ceremony, it all depends on your specific layout and of course the weather.
